Soft Augmented Intelligence Lab (SAIL)

Innovating the Future of Soft Wearable Robotics

Soft Augmented Intelligence Lab: Bridging physical intelligence and computational power for real-world robotics.

Research Overview

About Me

I am an Assistant Professor at DGIST, specializing in Soft Wearable Robotics, Deep Learning, and Human-Robot Interaction.

I am deeply interested in developing wearable robotic technologies that enhance human functional movement and support rehabilitation. In recent years, wearable robots—including exoskeletons and exosuits—have demonstrated significant progress in augmenting and improving human motion through advanced engineering technologies.

However, for these robots to be naturally and effectively used in everyday settings, they must be capable of perceiving their environment and accurately recognizing the user's intentions to provide personalized control. My research aims to bridge this gap by integrating physical intelligence with computational power.
